When a conversation about AI helps

You may have tried ChatGPT and been unsure whether to trust the answer. Perhaps customers or colleagues keep mentioning AI, but it is difficult to see where it fits into your working day. A practical conversation starts with the tasks you already understand, such as answering enquiries, drafting documents or organising information.

There is no need to prepare technical questions. Bring an example of a task you find repetitive, or describe something you would like to make easier. Use made-up or anonymised examples at first rather than sharing private customer details.

We can look at suitable uses of AI, the information a tool would need and the checks that should stay with a person. That might mean exploring a reusable prompt, planning a reply library or deciding that a straightforward template would be enough.

The aim is a clear next step that fits your business. AI can make mistakes, so accuracy, privacy and the limits of any proposed tool are part of the conversation. Advice does not need to lead to a software build.

Explanations are in plain English, with time to ask questions and go over the parts that are unfamiliar. You can discuss a one-to-one session or help for the people who will use a proposed system. The scope and any written guidance are agreed before paid work starts.
